Hi there! I’m WinterTheKat (AKA: u/Aspect-Infinity), I’m 18 and I live in the US. I specialize in community management and moderation on platforms such as Discord and Reddit. I’ve been involved in online spaces since 2018, exploring platforms like Discord, Reddit, Amino, and Twitch. I’m interested in expanding my experience in the community and product management areas specifically on Discord, Twitch, and Reddit. Although I’ve mostly learned my skills on my own, I’m constantly seeking ways to improve and discover new leadership strategies.
I advocate for the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Purpose (IDEP) model in online communities. Fostering inclusivity is key to community thriving, where every member, regardless of background, feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to contribute positively. I always work with my team members to assess rules, rectify biases, and implement measures to create a welcoming environment for all. I believe online moderation is an important and necessary part of today's society and I believe that in combination with IDEP, it is truly an unstoppable force.
